Any questions? While our information sessions have passed, you’d be welcome to schedule Open Hours with Erin Moore to ask questions or chat about a potential project!
We’ve designed the application to be simple, straightforward and take less than 15 minutes to complete. To get ready, here is an idea of some of the questions we’ll be asking:
- Who are you?
- What are you passionate about working on?
- Are you already working on a team? If so, who is on your team and what challenge are you focused on?
Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED A TEAM TO APPLY? No, please feel free to apply as an individual! While Innovation in Action is best experienced as a team, we know building a team this year is difficult. So we will help you build your team throughout sessions in December and January.
WHEN ARE APPLICATIONS DUE? Applications will open in early December, and the application deadline will be January 19, 2022. All applications will be reviewed for adherence to eligibility requirements. If the deadline has passed and you’re still interested in participating, please get in touch with Erin Moore (email@example.com)
DO I NEED TO HAVE A FULLY-DEVELOPED PROJECT OR IDEA BEFORE APPLYING? No, not at all! You’re welcome to bring a project from a class or student org into Innovation in Action, but it’s absolutely not required. We ask that you identify a challenge area you’re interested in focusing on aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and we’ll walk you through the process of deeply understanding that challenge.
I STILL HAVE QUESTIONS, WHO CAN HELP? Please feel free to email or book Open Office Hours with Erin Moore (firstname.lastname@example.org) to get your questions answered or an overview of the program.
Check out our “Teams” page for more information.
Once your team is assembled, be sure you meet the eligibility requirements.
